original and fully functional american industrial adjustable gooseneck yellow brass desk or table lamp designed and fabricated by the faries mfg. co., decatur, ills. the lamp retains the original parabolic brass-plated shade with rolled rim. the weighted cast iron base is concealed by a tapered brass cap. the gooseneck arm and post are structurally sound and tightly affixed to the base. the single paddle or turn-key socket is in working order. the faries table lamp retains the orginal nicely worn and weathered finish or patina.
