c. 1920's antique american industrial refinished cast iron four-legged heavy duty stationary machine base likely designed and fabricated by the d.e. whiton machine co., new london, ct. the refinished low-lying work table or machine base has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the stationary flated legs remain in great condition. with the addition of a wood or glass top, the base makes for an ideal repurposed side table, etc.
