highly desirable original c. 1910-20 american vintage industrial draftsman table salvaged from an chicago factory building office. the heavily reinforced cast iron three-legged stationary base features fanciful cabriole style legs. the heavy gauge iron sliding spindle or telescoping support member is firmly attached to the newly added birch wood drawing board that tilts and rotates to any desired angle or position. the fanciful faucet style cast iron handles are all original and intact. the weighted stationary tripod base has been brushed down to bare metal and treated with a clear coat lacquer. likely fabricated by the eugene dietzgen co., principal factory, chicago, il. top measures 26 1/2 x 22 1/2 inches.
