one of several completely intact and fully functional american depression era ruby red glass interior salvaged chicago commercial building "exit" light ceiling light fabricated in part by the kopp glass co., swissvale, pa. the double-sided fixture contains a richly colored red glass shade with bold white lettering. the rewired exit light is equipped with bronze enameled chain, canopy, and shade fitter. the single socket has been rewired with period appropriate cloth cord. shade is 5 1/2 x 7. Height is approx. 30 inches
