original late 1920's american industrial stationary four-legged pressed and folded steel factory machinist stool designed and fabricated by the angle steel stool company, plainwell, mi. the reinforced upright stool contains riveted joints for added durability. the horizontal stretchers double as a foot or heel rest. the adjustable stool has been brushed down to bare metal. the extension legs contain several closely spaced pre-drilled holes for achieving the desired height. the backrest is supported by two bent steel rods affixed to the underside of the seat. the inward turned ball feet provide additional stability. measures approximately 16 x 16 x 26 inches.
