single vintage american industrial original well-worn c. 1950's "superlite" brand foundry worker protective hard hat designed and fabricated by the fibre-metal products co., concordville, pa. or possibly apex safety products, cleveland, oh. the aluminum hard had contains a turtle shell style design. the original riveted joint interior liner remains in good condition, considering age. the vintage hard hat was salvaged from the a. finkl & sons foundry complex prior to demolition. measures 11 x 8 x 7 inches.
