completely intact and all original c. 1935 antique american depression era three-light slip or "slipper" shade residential ceiling fixture designed and fabricated by markel electric products, buffalo, ny. the fixture contains a decorative cast iron body with the original metallic gold enameled finish. the pressed brass ceiling canopy is original to the fixture. the perforated bottom finial remains intact and free from damage. the amber colored slip shades with chevron motifs contain a rich iridescent surface finish. the original sockets and rayon cloth cord are completely intact. measures 11 inches wide x 12 1/2 inches high. slip shades measure 8 1/2 inches long and 3 1/2 inches deep.
