largely intact and refinished c. 1930's american made depression era single electric outdoor pendant light fixture designed and fabricated by the radiant lighting fixture co., inc., new york city, ny. the "radiant" outdoor entrance or porch light contains a multi-faceted lamp body or lantern with amber "crackle" glass insets or panels. the soldered joint copper rods are designed to protect the glass from damage. the bottom of the lantern is open-ended for easy access to the light bulb. the single white ceramic keyless socket is original and intact. the pyramidal-shaped top contains a crimped heat "cap" for distribution of heat emitted from the light bulb. the tapered and turned or spun steel canopy has been refinished and sealed. chain links can be added to achieve great height. the craftsman style depression era pendant lamp is in working condition. the fixture measures at 6 inch diameter, fixture total extension measures at 21 inches.
