single late 19th century original oversized cast bronze thumblatch door pull from s.s. beman's non-extant chciago grand central station. the massive romanesque style tower, headroom, and shed were completed in 1890. the cast bronze door handle was salvaged during its demolition in 1971. the oversized pull was fabricated by the yale and towne mfg. co., stamford, ct.
