matching set of original c. 1886 antique american eastlake style ornamental cast brass "egyptian" pattern drum-shaped doorknobs designed and fabricated by branford lock works, branford, ct. the matching doorknobs were salvaged from the extant david c. cook mansion, located in elgin, il. the original baked black enameled inlay remains largely intact. mostly uniform surface patina throughout. measure approximately 2 1/4 inches in diameter. priced for the set.
