19th century antique american interior residential ornamental cast iron kitchen pantry cabinet latch possibly fabricated by the russell & erwin mfg. co., new britain, ct. the brushed metal latch retains the original, fully functional spring-loaded latch bolt. the period appropriate keeper harmonizes well with the existing latch. the original white porcelain knob pulls is free from damage. two matching furniture cupboard latches available.
