group of c. 1930s depression-era salvaged chicago "new old stock" single-sided stamped brass bank building legal holiday signs fabricated by or for the garden city plating mfg. company, chicago, ills. a complete set of original signs with intact packaging dating to the early 1930s was found in the basement of an old chicago bank building during its demolition. the signs a lighly incised with intact bakes black enameled background. the signs are priced for the group.
