one of four matching all original and intact c. 1917-20 antique american industrial stackable varnished maple wood storage bin possibly designed and fabricated by or for the economy engineering company, chicago, ill. the heavy duty wood and metal industrial bin contains a single spacious interior free from dividers. the darkly stained bin is outfitted with pressed and folded riveted joint steel corner guards that have been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. each bin contains a lightly incised or engraved series of black enameled numbers. the opposed handles are comprised of wood. very unique and unusual. a total of four matching bins are available. pried individually. the early 20th century industrial bins were salvaged from a metal plating factory. 19 x 14 1/2 x 6"
