unique hard to find and sought after oversized weathered and worn cherry red painted pressed and folded steel directional arrow fabricated by or for the white way sign co., chicago, il. the massive arrow was salvaged from an old chicago car wash facility dating to the 1950's. the lightweight metal directional arrow contains a multitude of circular-shaped holes for exposing colored light bulbs. the sockets and wiring are intact. the old red paint finish remains in good condition, despite prolonged exposure to the outdoor elements. the exterior directional arrow is double-sided with a base plate (can be removed) allowing it to be installed flush horizontally or vertically on a flat surface. the original yellow light bulbs are largely intact. measures 10 ft h x 1 ft wide.
