late 19th century antique american victorian era varnished white oak interior residential bathroom medicine cabinet salvaged from a chicago graystone constructed around 1891. the oversized cabinet features a simple, yet elegant crown accentuated with egg & dark trimwork. the original plate glass mirror remains largely intact, with only minor loss of sliver nitrate backing paint found along the edges. the hinged door retains the original loose butt hinges and cabinet latch with matching keeper. the interior contains a multitude of wood shelves for storing toiletries. the cabinet was fabricated by the l.r. harsha mfg. co., chicago, il. measures 28 x 37 x 6 inches. two matching units available.
