early 1920's single adjustable height reinforced heavy gauge steel factory machinist's stool with original nicely worn and weathered maple wood seat and contoured backrest. the four-legged stool base contains extensions with multiple pre-drilled holes for achieving desired height. the extensive riveted joint cross-bracing provides added support and stability. the backrest brackets and metal legs have been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the single stationary stool was fabricated by the angle steel stool co., plainwell, mich. measures approximately 15 x 15 inches with an adjustable height ranging from 26 - 36 inches.
