completely intact and all original american heavy glass sterilizer and/or antiseptic barbershop comb jar designed and fabricated by or for t. noonan & co. - barber supplies - boston, mass. the original oval-shaped polychrome decal or label is displayed prominently along the front of the multifaceted glass jar. the original brushed aluminum metal pagoda-shaped cap with black bakelite or molded plastic knob remains intact. measures 12 inches in height by 4 1/4 inches in diameter. this type of countertop container was used to disinfect the barber's instruments (e.g., combs, etc.). measures approximately 4 inches in diameter with a height of 11 inches.
