hard to find and highly sough after american art deco streamlined style interior theater lobby illuminated exit light manufactured by the h.j. peters co., chicago, il. the c. 1930's electric "can" sign retains the original reverse painted glass panel or inset with deco style green line lettering against a frosted (i.e., light etched) background. the wall or ceiling mount exit light contains a single keyless ceramic incandescent light socket for illumination. the pressed and folded steel "can" retains the original dark burgundy baked enameled finish. free from breaks and/or cracks. ready for immediate installation. measures 12 x 4 x 6 inches.
