intact antique american victorian era oversized 19th century residential scrolliated window guard designed and fabricated by the barbee wire & iron works, chicago, il. the rectangular-shaped open metalwork features a repeating pattern of nicely arranged curvaceous scrolls. the original weathered and worn black paint finish remains partially intact. the wrought iron residential window guard remains in great overall condition, considering age. measures 55 3/4 x 30 1/2 inches.
