late 1930's four-legged american industrial heavy gauge riveted joint angled steel stationary stool designed and fabricated by the angle steel stool company, plainwell, mich. the durable machine shop stool contains a lightly stained solid maple wood circular-shaped seat affixed tightly to the base or frame. the inward turned ball feet, which were designed to ensure added stability, are a distinctive feature or design "signature" used by this company. the brushed metal finish has been treated with a clear coat finish. strong and stable throughout. measures approximately 15 x 15 x 24 inches.
