refinished american art deco springer chair in the manner of wolfgang hoffmann. the fully functional heavy gauge bent steel rocking chair retains the original spring-loaded upholstered cushions. the riveted joint steel chair frame is structurally sound and stable. the depression-era chair was likely fabricated by the howell furniture company, st. charles, ills.
