rare 19th century oversized salvaged chicago white carrara marble lavatory sink with detachable trenton pottery vitreous bowl. the l. wolff comany sink is rectangular-shaped with distinctive chamfered edges. the waste handle and pipe, soap tray and faucet hardware remains intact. the marble and glazed china bowl are free from cracks or breaks. the oversized sink was salvaged from a late 19th century gold coast mansion lavatory. the original cast iron brackets used to support the counter and drop-bowl were removed long ago.
