original and intact vintage american industrial four-legged stationary factory machinist stool designed and fabricated by the the chicago wire chair company, chicago, il. the refinished american stool contains a sanded and sealed wood seat tightly affixed to the lightweight angled steel base. the four-legged stool retains the original protruding footrest riveted against the front two legs. the metal stool base has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. a total of two matching stools in this exact configuration and finish are available. priced individually. the stools were salvaged from a factory specializing in the fabrication of parts for the aerospace industry. measures 15 x 15 x 27 5/8 high.
