heavily reinforced worn and weathered notched joint early 20th century foundry flask designed and fabricated by or for the s. obermayer company, chicago, ills. the solid wood sand casting flask retains the original cast iron diamond hinges and pivoting latches. the versatile casting flask opens and closes with ease. a total of three are available in different sizes. this listing is for the largest. the flasks were salvaged from gary steel works.
