single late 1930's american industrial unusually-shaped pressed and folded galvanized steel portable sorting bin salvaged from the gargantuan downtown chicago "old main" post office building. the nice and compact single compartment bin contains a shallow front wall with opposed angled or curved side walls. the rear wall has not been altered or cut to any configuration. the galvanized steel has been lightly cleaned, but old paint splatter and allover discoloration remains evident from excessive use for decades. a total of four matching (in size and configuration) are available. the exact fabricator is not known, but the storage bin was likely made in-house. priced individually.
