exceptional all original and intact museum-quality early 20th century antique american salvaged chicago exterior white glazed terra cotta building cartouche possibly executed by the midland terra cotta company, chicago, ills. the richly ornamented sullivanesque style terra cotta cartouche is comprised of four interlocking sections. the webbing has been cleaned from brick and mortar. the nicely crazed mottled glaze finish is in good overall condition. salvaged from a chicago storefront built around 1918. measures 4 x 5 feet.
