c. 1850's privy dug teal pony-shaped or style soda bottle with applied blobtop manufactured for dixon & carson, new york city, ny. the antique american bottle has an applied blob top finish with whittling around the neck. the squat body features heavily embossed, but caseworn lettering, that reads “dixon & carson / 41 / walker st / n y." the pontiled base retains most of its iron residue. the old new york city untumbled green glass bottle features crudities typical of its age and date of manufacture including asymmetry and whittling, but no significant bubbles. intact and in good condition. exact bottling fabricator not known. possibly union glass works.
