two matching original and fully functional late 1940's vintage american industrial telescoping "adjustrite" pressed and folded steel stationary factory stools with an all-metal backless seat. the set of stools feature two relatively movable members combined or overlapping for telescopic movement, with one of the members secured to the seat of the stool and other member secured to the legs and/or base of each stool. the coacting movable members function in such a way to lock the seat at various selected positions. the bent tubular steel legs are structurally sound and stable. the lightweight stool contain a mostly uniform bright red paint finish. fabricated by the adjusto equipment co., bowling green, oh. the first incarnation was designed and patented by james a campbell in the early 1940's. priced for the pair.
