set of two refinished late 19th or early 20th century antique american ornamental cast bronze "vassar" door hinges designed and fabricated by the reading hardware company, reading, pa. the heavy unornamented solid bronze hinges have been refinished and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the integrated knuckles on each leaf are free from excessive wear and tear. the solid steel loose pin with ball-shaped finial is free from bending, gouge marks, etc. the matching hinges were salvaged from a chicago mansion demolished long ago. multiple "vassar" style hinges available. priced per set. each measure 5 x 7 inches with finials
