pair of original and largely intact american ornamental cast and wrought brass interior funeral home coffin or casket stands with a nicely aged surface patina throughout. each x-shaped stand is divided into two collapsible sections for easy transport. both stands are lightweight but robust nonetheless. the exact fabricator or foundry is not known. each section is adorned with intricate foliated scrollwork accentuated with floral rosettes mounted along the tubular square legs. the unusual feet are comprised of mythical creatures with fish scale design motif. priced for the pair. make for ideal side tables.
