matching pair of late 1860's ornamental cast bronze interior residential drapery tiebacks with etched glass insets

hard to find set of rare late 1860's american victorian era ornamental cast bronze interior residential drapery or curtain tiebacks. likely salvaged from a stately italianate residence within the midwest. original light blue enameled inlay remains mostly intact. the tightly affixed rondels or medallions feature deeply incised, beveled edge glass insets with stunning ruby red floral rosettes. excellent surface patina. a nail hole on the tieback located to the right does contain damage. measure approximately 6 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches. priced for the pair.
