original early 20th century american made industrial heavy duty cast iron workbench bases designed and fabricated by the e. a. baumbach foundry co., chicago, il. the formed channels provide added strength and rigidity. the grooved floor plates or feet can be mounted to the floor. the bases are fitted with pre-drilled holes for use with tension rods and/or cross-bracing. the topmost sections contain a series of double-sided grooves providing added flexibility when mounting the custom tabletop with nuts and bolts. salvaged from an old chicago gear factory workshop. each base measures 24 x 2 1/2 x 32 inches. priced for the pair.
