late 19th century original and completely intact antique american ornamental art glass chicago residential bay transom window with palmette and volutes accentuated with jewels

very clean and brilliantly colored antique american stained glass residential bay transom window designed and fabricated by the foster & munger company, chicago, ills. the single intact and all original art glass window is free from cracks or breaks. the late 19th century variegated art glass window features a centrally located palmette flanked by scrollwork or volutes. the glue chip textured glass is original throughout. the window contains two ruby red "jewels" on the ends of the scrolls. the original wood sash frame is structurally sound and stable. the leaded glass window was salvaged from a chicago house undergoing demolition.
