structurally sound and stable late 1940's american industrial four-legged factory machinist stationary stool with original olive green powder coat enameled finish remaining largely intact. the pressed and folded legs are reinforced with two distinct tiers of welded joint cross-bracing or stretchers, doubling as an optional footrest. the pinched steel feet are protected using four hardened black rubber "shoes." the adjustable backrest is affixed to the underside of the seat. fabricated by the lyon metallic mfg. co., aurora, il. measures 30 inches in height.
