all original and intact late 1930's american antique industrial flush mount "soapitor"" cast aluminum factory lavatory powder soap dispenser designed and patented by george b. kaplan of new york city, ny. the diminutive metal cake soap dispenser contains a drive shaft and cutter to convert the cake sections into a powder dispensed into the hand. the rotating lever or key remain in excellent working condition. the casing contain lightly embossed letter manufacturer markings, along with instructions for use. the industrial soap dispenser was fabricated by the soapitor company, inc., new york city, ny. two matching dispensers available. priced individually. measures approximately 3 x 7 inches.
