late 1860's original and intact four panel pine wood interior residential pre-fire chicago residential passage door with impressive built-up molding

one of two matching original and structurally sound pre-fire chicago interior residential passage doors likely fabricated by the c.j.l. meyer mfg. co., chicago, il. the door contains distinctive double-sided panels with built-up molding. the passage door is comprised of pine wood with an older two-tone paint finish. the door was savaged from a rockwell street italianate residence constructed between 1869-1870. the house was demolished shortly after the doors, hardware and other architectural artifacts were removed. measures 31 3/4 x 1 1/2 x 80 inches.
