group of refinished - cleaned and sealed - late 19th or early 20th century ornamental cast iron interior residential "ontario" pattern passage size doorknobs designed and fabricated by the reading hardware company, chicago, ills. the large lot of doorknobs have been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the passage size salvaged chicago doorknobs were removed from a chicago graystone undergoing demolition. priced for the lot.
