eleven matching early 20th century stamped steel doorknob backplates salvaged from a milwaukee foursqaure residence. the interior ornamental wrought steel plates were originally used on multiple passage doors throughout the house. the copper plated finish remains largely intact. likely fabricated by sargent, reading or perhaps russwin. dates to the 1900's. measure approximately 7 x 2 1/8 inches. priced for the lot.
