matching lot of 19 late 19th century american victorian era salvaged chicago interior residential fireplace majolica glazed tiles with an unusual mosaic pattern accentuated with elaborate scrolls. the antique american tile set contains a lightly colored, mottled blue and brown glaze with allover crazing. the ceramic tiles were fabrciated by the american encaustic tile co. of zanesville, oh. each tile measures 6 x 6 inches. priced for the lot.
