c. 1900's original and intact antique american ornamental wrought bronze "le roy" pattern interior residential doorknob designed and fabricated by the russell & erwin mfg. co., new britain, ct. the dome-shaped doorknob features a lightly embossed intricate lace work design surrounding foliated leafage. the doorknob contains an oil-rubbed metallic bronze finish. measures approximately 2 1/4 inches in diameter.
