late 1930's american antique industrial reinforced "santelli" wire mesh fencing mask designed and fabricated by the united states fencing equipment company, new york city, ny. the distinctive salle d' armes fencing mask contains stitched canvas seams and padded bib or neck guard. the gridded steel wire mesh remains in great overall condition, considering age. the wire-enforced elongated strap keeps the mask or helmet fastened tightly against the head. measures 7 x 10 x 14 inches.
