original 28 matching ornamental cast brass doorknob rosettes or escutcheons manufactured by the penn hardware co., reading, pa. the highly decorative antique american doorknob rosettes feature a deep relief bellflower design motif. aged surface patina consistent with age. date to 1900-1910. salvaged from a downtown chicago hotel. measure approximately 2 3/4 x 1 1/2 inches.
