original and intact stunning 19th century american victorian era salvaged st. louis fireplace mantel with solid twisted oak wood columns and centrally located grotesque flanked by floriated scollwork. the unique american mantel was salvaged from a chicago mansion undergoing extensive renovations. the darkly stained is original and mostly uniform throughout. the original beveled edge mirror is intact and free from damage. the 19th century mantel was executed by the hornet mantel company, st. louis, mo. 

It measures 76.5” tall and 62” wide. The top mirror part, however, is only 58” wide. The opening measures 39” tall and 41.5” wide.
