reconfigured antique american ceiling mount illuminated exit pendant light with the bulbous ruby red glass shade fabricated by the kopp glass company, pittsburgh, pa. the robust american industrial spring-loaded socket housing is comprised of cast bronze with original ceramic socket intact and rewired with period appropriate braided cloth cord. the tubular steel pipe and flange are made of steel, with the c. 1920's flush mount flange fabricated by the crouse-hinds company. the art deco style ruby red glass exit light globe retains the original bold, oversized white lettering baked on to both sides of the round globe. the shade fitter, socket housing and pipe with flange have been refinished. measures 5 1/2 inches in diameter x 33 inches high.
