all original and highly desirable interior residential or commercial office flush mount early incandescent electric single light wall sconce designed and fabricated by or for the faries mfg co., decatur, il. the unrestored antique american sconce retains the original highly desirable oxidized copper-plated finish over spun yellow brass metal. the fixture contain a tapered and tuned canopy or backplate, along with a bent tubular single arm affixed to a paddle socket containing the same plated finish. the sconce comes with the original shade fitter with all three decorative diminutive threqded set screws intact. great overall condition considering age. fixture base measures 4 1/2 inches in diameter. Fixture height measures 11 inches.
