early 20th century antique american industrial reinforced cast iron and tubular steel factory machine shop portable cart designed and fabricated by the new britain machine company, new britain, conn. the mobile shop cart contains two identical cast iron decks or tiers with raised edges. the two iron decks are supported by heavy gauge steel tubular uprights. the oversized stationary and swivel casters are in great working condition. the industrial work cart can be completely disassembled if need be. the exterior retains the original desirable weathered and worn finish. measures 30 1/2 x 20 x 37 inches.
