unique custom-built c. 1930's american depression-era salvaged chicago factory low-lying bench, stand, or console with a brushed metal finish sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the bench or stand contains welded joint bracing and four angled steel legs for added support and stability. the brushed metal stand is in great overall condition, considering age. likely fabricated by a factory machinist.
