very unique early 20th century custom-built antique american industrial salvaged chicago locomtive assembly plant machinist tool chest or "strong box" supported by an angled iron stand. the refinished brushed metal tool chest contains heavily riveted joint corners with oversized drop-down pulls or handles on the sides. the spacious interior contains a removable parts tray. the custom-built bottom drawers can be removed for a cleaner look. the custom cold-rolled steel welded and riveted-joint tool chest is structurally sound and sturdy.
