single original and intact ornamental cast iron interior residential fireplace mantel salvaged from a chicago italianate style residence undergoing demolition. the single piece mantel with curvaceous shelf has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the mantel contains a desirable arch top opening. the sealed iron mantel piece is in great overall condition with no breaks or cracks.
