c. 1910-15 antique american industrial factory office building lavatory wall mount cup holder with oversized ring that either was for hanging a small hand towel or contained a detachable grille or plate for holding a soap bar. the dual-purpose bathroom hardware is comprised of cast iron with a durable vitreous or porcelain enameled finish or coating. the large ring is secured below the cup holder with two screws. surface wear and discoloration evident. the diminutive circular-shaped backplate contains two opposed screw holes for mounting purposes.
